1st - Download a Product Trial

Download a fully functional evaluation version*, then start building and testing Windows Embedded software FREE before making a purchase decision (Note this process requires you to sign in using your Windows Live Account):

Trial versions of Windows Embedded products are fully functional for 4 months (6 months for Windows Embedded CE 6.0) without a charge. Products are available by immediate download (Windows Live ID login required) or by requesting a CD-ROM.

In order to start developing with your product trial copy, you must first register it. Please see instructions on this page for “Product Key Registration".

*Note: Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded are available on CD as well. Windows Embedded for Point of Service is available on CD only. Shipping and handling costs are required for trials requested on CD.

2nd - Get a Product Key

After you have downloaded a Windows Embedded Trial, you will be asked to enter a product key to begin developing. In order to receive a product key, you must first register your trial software. Product keys are issued immediately following registration. Please select a Windows Embedded product below to register (Note this process requires you to sign in using your Windows Live Account):
